openstv software package provides single transferable vote and instant runoff voting software, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openstv
openstv is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openstv package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openstv *
You will get with openstv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
